Schedule a Donation Pickup in New Jersey

The Vietnam Veterans of America of New Jersey provides the necessary assistance and support for our nation’s veterans. Pickup Please accepts your donations on behalf of the VVA. The VVA helps to spread awareness for our veterans and those in need through out all of New Jersey. By donating household items, you help the VVA continue its efforts in providing programs for veterans in need.

New Jersey has 19 chapters of the VVA all over the state including Chapter 452 in Flemington,Chapter 800 in Lodi, and Chapter 899 in Bordentown. Each year, they hold a car and motorcycle show that supports and benefits the New Jersey Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial and the Vietnam Era Museum and Educational Center. They also just held the 10th Annual Veterans of America Day event that welcomes families and friends to celebrate and salute all of our veterans. This event brings the community together to show the respect and gratitude that they have earned defending our country and for all the freedoms that we enjoy today. Chapter 510 of Northern New Jersey is committed to visiting local schools to speak to and educate students of all ages about veteran experiences to be sure that our future generations will never forget. Members also belong to a Hospital Committee that works with VA participating hospitals. In East Orange, NJ members brought hot food and good company to help make the less fortunate veteran’s stays in the hospital more enjoyable. VVA of New Jersey also represents veteran issues to the public at large in order to raise awareness for causes close to the hearts of all veterans.  To find a local chapter near you, visit the VVA website at https://vva.org/who-we-are/membership-2/.
